A serene moment on the Nile river, an older couple leaning on the railing of a ferry watching the smaller posts passing impossibly ancient monuments and the ochre desert mountains, bathed in a warm evening glow.

Five panels, depicting a small girl and her father dressed in a panoply of princess and prince outfits. From clockwise top-left: the kid dressed as Rapunzel wrapping her dad dressed as Flynn in her hair and trying very hard to topple him, the kid dressed as Cinderella and her dad dressed as the prince showing off her glass slippers, the kid dressed as Snow White about to eat a poison apple and her dad dressed as the prince diving in to stop her, the kid dressed as Elsa zipping along a path of newly-summoned ice while her dad dressed as Kristof balancing precariously behind. Centre image: the kid dressed in a big t-shirt carried on the shoulders of her dad, dressed normally but for a pair of gauntlets and a cape. Caption: "You're my super hero."

An Indian aunt in a burgundy jumpsuit and sandals runs hand-and-hand with her two nieces along the wide beaches of Chenna, grinning and moving forward with optimism.

As well as these technical illustrations for companies I’ve worked with!

A metaphorical depiction of open access publishing, which allows publications to be read for free at a cost to the author.

A depiction of Springer Nature's waiver token system, which applies discounts to article processing charges at payment.

A depiction of the technical difficulties authors face getting their research through the submission system and out the other side.

And other various pieces of original art and fan art!

The air is so crisp it freezes halfway up the nostrils. It's possible there's a beach party clearing up its debris in the woods behind this point of view, the crushing of Heineken cans is drowning out the lilting sound of the waves.

The Aurora Borealis in luminescent pink as it appeared over the UK skies in May 2024, the town beneath in stark shadow with illuminated yellow windows.

Ryne and Gaia, in the aftermath of the Futures Rewritten Ultimate, staring longingly into each other's eyes in a way for which there is no heterosexual explanation. Caption in the "Duty Completed" font reads: "And They Were Roommates".

Amy and Tekno from the Fleetway Sonic comics doing karaoke together with gusto. They're singing loudly into the kitted-out Mega CD: 'Someday you will fiiind meee! Caught beneath the laaandsliii-iii-iiide! In a champagne supernova in the skyyy-yyy!'

My FFXIV OCs, Rain Draconis and No'zaya Storm, enjoying their post-MSQ downtime in divergent ways, with Rain hitting the town carried on Wuk Lamat's shoulders and No'zaya trapped in a planning meeting with Koana imagining the fun the others might be getting up to.

Jinx, taking over Silco's operation and getting frustrated at the paperwork involved. Sevika gloats from opposite the stuffed desk while Isha is squatting to the side helping with as much enthusiasm as she can muster. Sevika says 'Ya Wanted Silco's chair, kiddo, ya gotta get ta grips with the secret of his success...BUDGETING.' Isha adds ''member yer multiplication tables!'

Stylized interpretations of Kim Yeji and Yusuf Dekic, fresh off their Olympic triumphs and immediately embarking on an espionage game of cat and mouse on the dark streets of Paris.

The Adversary, cast down from Heav'n's light, naked and alone, his wings torn, illuminate in the resplendent light forev'r now denied him, the gloom and dark frozen heat of hell awaiting him beyond the fathomless depths of the firmament, passage watch'd by the million eyes of the heavenly host from which he hath been expelled.

Small ramshackle crew, big scary spaceship. See: Red Dwarf, Farscape, Blake's 7, Lexx etc.

Ernst Mo and Em Storm, time-displaced versions of the same person created via the reality-bending requirements of superluminal motorcycle delivery gigs. Naturally they enter into a doomed lesbian hate-tryst and attempt to murder each other. IT'S METAPHORICAL.

The Witcher Girl, the Surprise, Cirilla of Cintra, is a mere shadow skating across the ice in the fog, wielding a bloody sword, her green eyes and hideous scar the only tangible features. A blurred suggestion of Tora Zirael looms over the frozen lake.

Fiction

As well as my ongoing webcomic, I have authored a bunch of books for all ages including “Rosie’s Journey” (a storybook for my niece) and my debut mystery adventure comic zine “M.O.D.S.”, available for purchase via my store!
